Product Description:
A Toronto transplant that landed in Miami back in the late 1990's, premier house music producer, remixer, songwriter, and DJ Chris Diodati has been straddling both locales for quite some time. Chris' proficiency in creating appealing and up-tempo music that listeners and music fans have embraced has made him a busy man, accepting projects from Toronto, New York, Miami, Europe and points beyond. Still, his roots are in Toronto while his heart is in Miami. With four worldwide #1 Billboard hits to his credit, Diodati has proven his excellent ear for music and skill in crafting pop music hits. His work appears on records under various aliases such as Christian Dio, Diomix, Christopher Diodati or simply Dio, and he has scored hit records with remixes of songs by several different artists in the soul, R&B, and hip-hop pantheon. On his latest project, Chris shows off his composing skills with 15 brand new jams that in some form or another pays tribute to his formative years in Toronto as a house music DJ, through his transformative period in Miami where he has become one of the top remixers in the field. Each track on the new disc references either Toronto or Miami as if they are battling one another, and pitting muscle against muscle only serves to make the project stronger as a whole - so consider this either a battle between the two regions or an homage to both. Either way the followers and fans of deep house music will be greatly rewarded.
