Riders of the Sage (1939, B&W): Bob Burke rides into Apache Basin looking for work but instead finds a war raging between cattlemen and ranchers. The Halsey brothers have been terrorizing and murdering settlers to steal their land. When the brothers try to drive Bob Burke out of town, he joins forces with Jim Martin, whose ranch is hotly coveted by the gang. The outlaws kidnap Martin's son and, guns loaded, Bob rides off to bring him back. But to defeat the Halsey's, he needs the help of a mysterious vigilante group - The Riders of the Sage.

Sunrise Trail (1931, B&W): After a poker game shootout, strangers Tex and Kansas become friends. Tex gets hired by the notorious rustler Rand Kennedy and is surprised to learn that his pal, Kansas, also rides with outlaws. Trouble is, Tex is actually an undercover deputy and is leading a raid that will completely wipe the gang out. He desperately searches for a way to spare the life of his friend Kansas.
