Entertainment Reviews:
Description by OLDIES.com:
Tex Ritter's illustrious career as a singing cowboy actor earned him legendary status as a western screen star in the 1920s and 1930s and later as a popular recording artist best remembered for the iconic title theme to High Noon. This Monogram Production, set in Wyoming snow country, features a spectacular stampede of wild elk courtesy of well-edited archival footage.

It's always interesting to look back over our "singing cowboy" cinematic heritage - it's so much a part of our culture.I wanted an example of at least one of every cowboy star from the 20s, 30s, and 40s.I had high expectations for Tex, but was disappointed...although this is the only western I've ever seen that featured high action amidst thundering caribou herds and featured cowboys on snowshoes. Technically, this film is poor. The resolution is bad - no re-mastering.Still, it was fun to see ole' Tex and hear him sing. He was, after all, a trailblazer.
