Entertainment Reviews:
Michelle Pfeiffer gives a Bentley of a performance...
Chicago Sun-Times
Whether drunkenly slinging kitchen knives or soberly putting men in their place, Pfeiffer ensures that audiences won’t soon forget Frances. She comes on strong, makes an impression, and aptly slips away without saying goodbye.
Variety
Pfeiffer is flat-out fabulous here, at once chilly and poignant.
New York Times
[T]he new FRENCH EXIT is so genuine in its mix of arch and earnest, idiosyncrasy and earthiness that it creates a space all for itself.
Los Angeles Times
There are plenty of cherishable lines, which Pfeiffer deploys to perfection with the world-weary chagrin of a woman who has just found a supermarket olive in her martini.
The Guardian
3 stars out of 5 -- As broke socialite Frances Price in FRENCH EXIT, Michelle Pfeiffer digs into one of her juiciest roles yet, one that plays on her impossible beauty as well as her capacity for lacerating detachment.
RogerEbert.com
Michelle Pfeiffer sucks the juice from each line like a Louisianan devouring a crawfish. It's a full-on diva turn...
Hollywood Reporter
Pfeiffer is unsurprisingly glorious to watch; her face, when her financial advisor first breaks the bad news, passes through some 17 separate micro-expressions before she even utters another word.
Entertainment Weekly
